Crash detection for unmonitored roads
Low-cost pods on existing poles are designed to time every passing vehicle. When one never reaches the next pod and the traffic behind it slows, ANTAR is designed to alert the hospital, the highway patrol and nearby volunteers at the same moment.
How it works
A pod is designed to measure each passing vehicle's speed and size, then tell the next pod when to expect it. Nothing about the driver is stored.
If the vehicle never arrives, ANTAR checks the traffic behind it. A turn-off leaves traffic normal. A crash slows and blocks it.
The alert is designed to hop pod to pod to the nearest tower and reach the hospital, patrol and registered neighbours within 2 km together. In the demo these recipients are simulated.
Try it
Click Scenario A for normal traffic, B for a crash that ends in an alert, and C for a legal turn-off that ANTAR correctly does not report. Every step is explained as it happens.
